Nuvolt has developed cutting-edge expertise in the management of electrical networks and the evaluation of causes of network disturbances, as well as their impact on livestock performance and equipment malfunction.

This expertise rests on more than 2,000 service consultations on targeted livestock farms in Canada and the U.S. with a view to develop our products for the detection and neutralization of leakage current. In parallel to these consultations, Nuvolt scientifically validated the existence of return current on livestock farms, protocols for measuring the said current, evaluation techniques and corrective measures to be taken. All these activities have made Nuvolt the leader of this industry.

Our most promising product, “Smart Scan”, will revolutionize the monitoring of electrical networks through its ability to detect in real time anomalies, such as arc faults, generated by electric devices and through its ability to manage energy. Marketing of the product is expected by the beginning of 2009.
