Agricultural

Over the years, Nuvolt Corporation Inc. has developed expertise in sinewave analysis and the development of devices that help detect and correct ground faults which may be present in animal environments on livestock farms. Our products are used on dairy, pig and poultry farms.

> Surveillance

Relax

The “Relax” surveillance system alerts the User to anomalies that may show up in the electrical network. This equipment is connected by telephone line to our head office where the reports are downloaded, thus allowing our support staff to analyze them and suggest corrective measures to the customer.

Potential Equalizer

The Potential Equalizer is a product designed to detect leakage and return current and neutralize them. This device may be used on dairy, pig or poultry farms. Its job is to prevent leakage current from entering animal environments. It has been scientifically demonstrated that cows and pigs are more sensitive to leakage current than humans and that they can be a source of stress that causes diseases, a drop in production or an increase in operation cost.

Harmonic Current Filters

SVF Filters

Our SVF filters are patented and CSA-CA and CSA-US approved. The SVF-VSD filters are further CE approved and neutralize harmonic return current of more than 60 Hz.

Filters SVF-VSD

Our SVF-VSD filters are designed to prevent variable speed drives, electronic ventilation and electric fence controllers from generating current at higher frequencies than 1,000 Hz.

> Consultation Service

Our team has developed expertise in measuring the levels of leakage current in animal environments.

The objective of our analyses is to measure the levels of leakage current and suggest the best solution in order to achieve acceptable levels of leakage current in animal environments.

Supported by the many consultations we have undertaken since 1988, we’re able to advise you on what farm electrical systems should be like, thus sparing you the high costs of corrective measures.
