Nuvolt Corporation Inc. (TSX NCO) chose public financing for the research and development project associated with SmartScan. The company believes that it will need major funding for its international development. For the duration of the development of SmartScan, Nuvolt kept investors informed of the progress made and the costs incurred by way of press releases. Following the launch of SmartScan in early 2011, the company intends to put greater emphasis on its investor relations. Nuvolt announced the conclusion of private financing for an approximate amount of $3,500,000 at a rate of 6 cents per share. The closing date is on or about July 6, 2011.
